This site was created so that additional information, pictures and videos could be shared. This Fluffy Dog is being fostered in St. Charles, IL by Joan and Bob. They are lifelong animal lovers and have three dogs and several cats of their own. They began fostering for Fluffy Dog Rescue in December 2014. (They fostered two dogs, Patience and Phoebe, before the creation of this blog)

Tinee doing great

Here's a quick update on Tinee. She is being fostered by Joan (my mom) and Bob.  They are not bloggers so I'm posting their updates for them.

They tell me Tinee is doing great. She's "easy" and "no trouble" from what they say.  She had an accident the first day or two she was there but has been doing all her potties outside since.  They do consider her housebroken.  They do not have a fenced yard and she has been fine.  They leave a leash dragging on her just in case.  They tell me she comes when called.  She loves company and wants to make sure she is with the pack so that's probably why she stays close.  (Dogs should always be monitored when outside and should be on a leash)

She is timid at first, especially with Bob who is over 6 feet tall.  But once one of the other dogs comes over for some petting she follows along. She is very sweet and once she gets to know them she loves her people.  She follows mom and Bob around and wants to be where they are.

She's a pretty mellow girl and is happy just being with her pack.  Mom tells me she's not really into toys.  She is enjoying their nightly ritual of giving the dogs a rawhide after dinner.  She does bark when she's in the crate but mom and Bob have packed up the crate and don't use it.  At night Tinee sleeps in a dog bed next to their bed.  She sleeps all night and does not make a fuss.  If they are gone during the day Tinee just hangs out in the house with the other dogs.  She is well behaved and from what they have seen she can be trusted.

The cats don't phase Tinee at all and she is fine with their several cats along with their three dogs (a Shitzu and two beagles).

Keep reading below and you'll see more info, pictures and video of Tinee.  She and another dog were rescued, along with their puppies, from a hoarding situation. There were over 30 dogs in the home.  Tinee does well with other dogs.  In fact, I think she finds comfort in having them around.  Having company is what she's used to.  If I had to pick a home for her I would suggest a home with another animal (dog or outgoing cat) or someone who is home most of the time.  She loves company and I do think that is what she would prefer.  If she were left alone for long periods without company I think she might bark like she did when she was left in the crate alone.

Mom and Bob think she is wonderful.  I do too.

Keep reading prior blog posts.

Thanks for thinking rescue!
