This site was created so that additional information, pictures and videos could be shared. This Fluffy Dog is being fostered in St. Charles, IL by Joan and Bob. They are lifelong animal lovers and have three dogs and several cats of their own. They began fostering for Fluffy Dog Rescue in December 2014. (They fostered two dogs, Patience and Phoebe, before the creation of this blog)

Welcome Keeva

Little Keeva arrived from Alabama today (almost all Fluffy Dogs come from shelters in Alabama).  She is settling into her foster home in Northern Illinois and doing well.  She met her foster family's three dogs nicely, got some time to roam the yard and then some dinner.  After her long journey she'll rest well tonight.  So far she is a quiet girl who seems like she's a wee-bit shy at first but then warms up quickly.  She did well with all the people who visited her today, myself, my teenage daughters and then her foster mom and dad.

She has a beautiful, shiny black and tan coat.  She has gorgeous eyes. She is skinny so probably needs to put on a pound or two. Right now she's about 8-9 pounds.  She should probably be about 10 or maybe 11.  Her legs are long and lean.  I didn't have a chance to measure her height today but I'd guess she's probably about 13-14 inches to the shoulder.

She just arrived but did her potties outside.  She rode well in the car and did not fuss on the travel crate.

We'll certainly post more about her as we get to know this sweet girl better.
