This site was created so that additional information, pictures and videos could be shared. This Fluffy Dog is being fostered in St. Charles, IL by Joan and Bob. They are lifelong animal lovers and have three dogs and several cats of their own. They began fostering for Fluffy Dog Rescue in December 2014. (They fostered two dogs, Patience and Phoebe, before the creation of this blog)

Pet Fest!

The clinic where Tinee had her heart worm treatment was hosting a Pet Fest today so my daughter Leah and I went and took Tinee along with us.  Tinee finished her treatment weeks ago and is in great health and looking for her forever home.

Tinee did great in the car.  She settled into my lap and was quiet the whole way.  She's small enough that I could drive and hold her but we weren't going far.  This was the first year the clinic held the Pet Fest and the weather wasn't great so there weren't too many people there.   That's too bad because there were some rescues there with adoptable dogs and fundraising items.  We bought a new coat for Tinee...which matches her perfectly and adopter you are welcome to have it.  We bought some bake sale items and some raffle tickets also.  All for a good cause.

They had a Blessing of the Animals and Tinee received her own special blessing. She was good for the priest.  She can be shy around new people, particularly men, but she walked right up to him and was good for the blessing.  She was also very good with all the other dogs there.  Tinee is a low key girl who is just happy to be where others are.  So, all the dogs and people (and cats and bunnies too) didn't bother her at all.

Mom and Bob tell me she is an easy foster.  She does all her business outside and she makes quick work of it too.  No messing around, she does her thing in a matter of seconds and then comes back in.  She's also great at night.  She has a little dog bed next to their bed and she nestles into it around 9 or 10 at night and doesn't move a bit until they get up which is around 7am.  She loves the other dogs and will snuggle up with them for naps on the couch.  She even sleeps on top of the beagles sometimes.  Bob says its the cutest thing.

She is a shy girl and will be shy around new people at first.  She's especially shy around men.  She's never aggressive at all, just shy and cowering.  Bob keeps a leash on Tinee in the house sometimes.  This way if she does shy away he can use the leash to get her to come.

Tinee is an adorable, sweet and low-key girl looking for her forever home.  Thanks for reading and thanks for thinking rescue.

I finished this blog post about an hour ago but I am coming back to edit it.  Here's what I was thinking...just a few months ago Tinee was in a household with 30 other dogs.  She was owned by someone who was a "hoarder." Someone who had good intentions but couldn't stop at 10...20...30.  As a result of the neglect Tinee was allowed to become pregnant and also to become heart worm positive.  Thankfully events changed and Fluffy Dog Rescue was alerted to the situation and stepped up to take Tinee and her pups.  Tinee has weaned her pups and gone through heart worm treatment.  The days of chaos, neglect and litters of pups are behind her.  Today, she was blessed...but really she's already received a blessing...the blessing of rescue, of life and of health.  Now, she's only waiting for the final blessing, a home of her own.

All the dogs waiting for a treat at mom's house.  Tinee is good with all the dogs (and was good with the four at my house too)
